Deep Read Press is a traditional publisher. We assume all publishing costs. The author pays nothing. We offer advances of at least $100, and we pay above average royalties.
Please follow the guidelines below when submitting:

Please follow the guidelines below when submitting:
- We will consider manuscripts of 40,000 to 120,000 words.
- We will consider nonfiction of the following genres: local history; general history; true crime; Americana; and biography.
- Email a brief synopsis and the first three chapters of your manuscript to [email protected]. Do not submit a complete manuscript unless we ask to see it.
- Make sure your submission is in Microsoft Word or PDF format and that it is emailed to us as an attachment. We prefer Times New Roman or Georgia fonts.
- Please DO NOT submit works that have been previously published elsewhere. This includes all forms of digital self-publishing.
- Please do not submit works that have been aided by Artificial Intelligence.
- Please make only one submission to us at a time.
- Please do not not submit the only copy of your manuscript.
- Failure to follow the above guidelines will result in your manuscript being rejected.
